FACULTY OF BIOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, UL
It is one of the largest biological faculties in Poland that carries out research within the area of all disciplines of biological sciences at the European level.
In 2017, in the ranking of scientific units according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz obtained scientific category A, and its scientific potential was recognized as the largest among 19 biological faculties in the country.

Every year we adjust our offer of full-time studies, non-degree postgraduate courses and doctoral schools to the needs of the candidates. We cooperate closely with business, non-governmental organisations and scientific experts. We want the knowledge we provide to find use in the face of challenges that societies are currently facing.
